2026 – 27 Jr. Pens Eval and Tryouts Dates Set!

The Wilkes‑Barre Jr. Pens are excited to announce travel hockey evals and tryouts for the 2026–2027 season at Toyota Sportsplex. This is the first step in building next year’s Jr. Pens teams from U8 through U18, including our U16 girls program.

Evals – March 16 & 17

Evals are for U8, U10, and U12 players and are designed to give coaches a first look and help place players at the right competitive level.

• Monday, March 16

  • U8 / U10: 6:00–7:00 PM

  • U12: 7:15–8:15 PM

• Tuesday, March 17

  • U8 / U10: 6:00–7:00 PM

  • U12: 7:15–8:15 PM

Players are encouraged to attend both sessions for their age group.

Tryouts – April 6–8

Tryouts will determine final rosters for our U14, U16 A & AA, U18, and U16 Girls teams.

Monday, April 6

• U16 Girls: 5:15–6:15 PM

• U14: 6:30–7:30 PM

• U16 A & AA: 7:45–8:45 PM

• U18: 9:00–10:00 PM

Tuesday, April 7

• U16 Girls: 5:15–6:15 PM

• U14: 6:30–7:30 PM

• U16 A & AA: 7:45–8:45 PM

• U18: 9:00–10:00 PM

Wednesday, April 8

• U14: 6:45–7:45 PM

• U16 A & AA: 8:00–9:00 PM

• U18: 9:15–10:15 PM

We recommend skaters attend all listed tryout dates for their division so coaches can get the best possible evaluation.
