Jr. Pens 2025 Season Review to Date: Every Weekend Led to This

With the launch of our new website, we’re excited to reflect on an incredible journey so far for our Jr. Pens teams. Throughout the season so far , the players, coaches, and families together propelled the program forward with every weekend. Here’s a look back at our memorable games, turning points, and team spirit that defined our season to date.


14U B Highlights

  • September 30: The 14U B team kicked off with a nail-biter against Campus Wild, losing 4-5 in overtime after a gutsy goal with just 4.4 seconds left forced extra time. Persistence and teamwork, with standout Cole scoring all four goals, set the tone for the team’s fighting spirit.

  • October 18: Against the undefeated Princeton Tigers, the 14U B team delivered a statement 5-0 shutout. A defense-driven game, four of five goals came from the blue line! Ivan Plesh-Carmona and Hunter Carpenter were among the stars, showing that spirit and discipline can conquer even the strongest opponents.


14U A Highlights

  • October 4: In a fierce battle with the Quakers, the team rallied from 0-5 to close 4-5, dominating shots but just missing the comeback. The fight and resilience were evident all the way to the final whistle.

  • October 18: Faced two tough games with the Princeton Tigers. The team took a tough 0-5 loss but saw a standout goaltending effort from Mason O’Connor, earning him player of the week.

  • October 19-20: A rollercoaster weekend included a high-scoring 4-9 loss to Hershey Jr Bears, but a massive bounce-back with a 10-0 shutout over Genesis Green. Nathan Zubick’s shutout, flexible lineup changes, and determination defined the response.

  • October 25-27: Two big wins against Flyers Youth (4-0) and previously unbeaten Hershey Jr Bears (3-2), highlighted by Gavin Kravulski’s shutout and clutch goals from Mason Kelly. The team’s penalty kill, defense, and work ethic stood out.

  • November 2: The squad scored a strong win over Delco (7-3), powered by balanced team scoring and reliable goaltending from Kravulski. The focus was on playing a full 45 minutes and building consistency.

  • November 8: The squad fell in a tight 2-3 game to the Princeton Jr Tigers—testament to the team’s grit, with Zubick shining in goal.

  • November 16-17: Faced a split weekend: a well-fought but frustrating loss to Exton Kings, then an explosive 10-1 win over Genesis Blue. Teamwork, scoring depth, and grouped effort were highlights, emphasizing the importance of moving the puck and playing their system.


Looking Forward

Every game built on lessons of teamwork, determination, and the Jr. Pens way. From late-game heroics and stalwart defense to incredible comebacks and breakout shutouts, the Jr. Pens continue to forge their identity as one of heart, hustle, and unity.
